British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA)
The BHTA was founded in 1971 and is the oldest and largest healthcare association in the UK. It is the first trade body within the health industry to have an Office of Fair Trading (OFT) approved code. Which means that it has been proved effective in safeguarding and promoting the interests of consumers beyond the basic requirements of the law. Stannah are proud to be members of the BHTA, as it is a clear demonstration of our ethical practice and code of conduct. It shows that we adhere to the best possible practice in our business dealings, and provides us with professional recognition within UK industry.

Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA)
The LEIA is the representative body for those dealing in the supply, installation and maintenance of lifts – which includes stairlifts, homelifts and lifting platforms. As members of the LEIA we are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality, design, workmanship, and above all, safety.

Founding Member of Help The Aged Engage Campaign
In 2007, Stannah became one of the ten founding members of Engage – a unique business network managed by Help the Aged. With a specific mandate to focus on the 50+ consumer, it brings business leaders together to promote the best practice and raise awareness of issues concerning older people in the UK.
