Our sales and installation process

Once you’ve decided that a stairlift is the right solution for you, we will be on hand to guide you through every phase of the process, from selecting the right model all the way to installation. All our employees are fully trained to work in a professional and considerate manner and take pride in knowing that they have done a good job for you.

A thorough assessment

One of our trained consultants will conduct a detailed assessment of your stairs and will use the latest digital survey equipment for curved staircases. They will then discuss the available options with you like the bespoke rail design and which choice of chair is most appropriate for you and your staircase.

 

Once you’ve made the relevant decisions, our consultant will prepare you a free, fixed, written quotation. There will be no hidden costs and all our warranty packages are included in the price. Remember, you are under absolutely no obligation to purchase a Stannah stairlift.  

Design

One of the most important aspects of stairlift installation is the design of the rail. All our rails are custom-made to fit the exact dimensions of your staircase and they can handle bends and negotiate landings. We don’t cut corners when it comes to our rails.

 

Contrary to popular belief, rails are fitted to the stairs and not the wall, ensuring minimum fuss and bother. 

Supply

We are proud of our engineering heritage and we always seek to ensure that everything is built to the highest standard.

 

For straight stairs, we can deliver and install the rail within 3-10 working days of the order being placed. While for curved stairs, a bespoke rail will be installed within 14 working days of your order.

Installation

We take every measure to ensure that your stairlift installation is convenient and hassle free. This means that we will do everything to make sure that the installation date accommodates you. We endeavour to install most stairlifts from start to finish within a few hours. And when we say finish, we don’t just mean when the physical installation is complete.

 

For us, finished is when your house has been returned to exactly the same state that we found it in – barring of course, the stairlift we’ve just installed. This means vacuuming with our own vacuum cleaner, and carrying two pairs of shoes, one for indoors and one for outdoors. Most importantly, finished is when you are 100% comfortable with the operation and functions of your stairlift. We will stay until you are happy with absolutely every aspect of our service.
