We understand the importance of family; we are a British, family-owned and run business based in Hampshire, with Managing Director Jon Stannah one of the fifth generation of Stannah's to be involved in managing the firm.

We have been making innovative products for over 180 years focusing on specialist products that move people and objects between different floors, including passenger lifts, goods lifts for businesses, homelifts, platform lifts, microlifts and trolleylifts.

Since 1975, we’ve drawn on our unrivalled technical experience to manufacture and install stairlifts of the highest quality, supplying over a quarter of a million satisfied customers in more than 40 countries. So that we can be sure that every stairlift we make meets our exacting standards, our dedicated in house team manufacture and test every one.

Our passion for innovation has made us the world leader in stairlift design and manufacture, but we are rooted by the same principles - quality, honesty and integrity – as the day we started.
