We understand the importance of family; we are a British, family-owned and run business based in Hampshire, with Managing Director Jon Stannah one of the fifth generation of Stannah's to be involved in managing the firm.

We have been making innovative products for over 180 years focusing on specialist products that move people and objects between different floors, including passenger lifts, goods lifts for businesses, homelifts, platform lifts, microlifts and trolleylifts.

Since 1975, we’ve drawn on our many years of technical experience to manufacture and install stairlifts of the highest quality, supplying over 400,000 satisfied customers in more than 40 countries. So that we can be sure that every stairlift we make meets our exacting standards, our dedicated in house team manufacture and test every one.

Our passion for innovation has made us the world leader in stairlift design and manufacture, but we are rooted by the same principles - quality, honesty and integrity – as the day we started.

When it comes to moving anything from hot plates to heavy goods pallets, Stannah Microlifts Limited provide the solution. The Microlift is Europe's most popular dumb waiter, for loads from 50 - 100kg. The Trolly lift and Goods master range carry loads from 100 - 150kg. Our nationwide network of service branches provide local maintenance and repair for thousands of lifts, from all manufacturers, all over the UK. Our highly-trained lift and stairlift engineers are available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
