Dear Mr Stannah
Very recently I bought a STANNAH STAIRLIFT, your ref 124503 of 18-10-2011. I felt I must write to you in addition to having filled in a satisfaction report, the reason being it has been so refreshing to deal with a firm that appreciated what I call OLD FASHIONED VALUES, superb service with a first class product.
I phoned for a brochure which arrived the next day. Having read this, I phoned STANNAH which was on a Friday, and it was arranged for your representative to call on the Monday at 12.00. That morning we had snow, so I thought that would be it for the day. At 12.00 the door bell rang, and I was introduced to what I consider to be the most efficient salesman I have met for many years. Every question I asked was answered perfectly, and there was no high pressure. His Christian name was NIGEL, and I must congratulate you for sending someone who has restored my faith in British firms. Being in the footwear trade most of our manufacturers have gone.
Having decided to order what was recommended, Nigel said he would make arrangements regarding the electrician, and this would take place at 10.00 a.m. on Wednesday. 10.00 a.m., the door bell rang, and two gentlemen started work having removed their shoes and put slippers on. The wiring was so neat, and they left after doing a perfect job and not leaving one speck of dirt anywhere.
Next, the lift, this would be put in on Friday morning starting between 8.30 and 9.00. At 8.50 the door bell rang, and the same fantastic standard of service, with a perfect demonstration after the fitting, and from that moment on we have been delighted with our STANNAH and also delighted to tell all Ambleside that at last we have found a firm that knows what SERVICE means.
I think I saw you advertised taking SERVICE TO ANOTHER LEVEL, I think this should read taking SERVICE TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL, which is what you have done.
